SERVITECH PROMOTES BRANDEN THAYER AS TEAM LEADER FOR WESTERN FOOTPRINT
ServiTech has announced the promotion of a Territory Leader in its western footprint. Branden Thayer is the new Western Territory Lead for the ServiTech Crop Services team. In this position, Thayer will focus on the Crop Services team in Colorado, Kansas and western Nebraska and will be responsible for planning, budgeting, forecasting, developing and leading territory initiatives, enhancing customer experiences and expanding the reach of ServiTech Crop Service.
Thayer earned a Bachelor of Science in agriculture from the University of Wyoming majoring in agroecology. A summer internship with ServiTech turned into a full-time position with the company as a technical agronomist and Thayer has focused on his agronomy career with the ServiTech ever since.
“One of the reasons I pursued the manager position with ServiTech was to help guide and influence future agronomists for the company,” Thayer says. “I want to help continue the ServiTech quality of work as we bring on new staff.”
As the Western Territory Lead, Thayer will manage 16 full-time agronomists and ten interns with emphasis on crop service products at ServiTech including soil sampling, grid sampling, plant tissue testing and field scouting. ServiTech’s unbiased agronomists can also help write customer prescriptions and create a plan to enhance the bottom line of their customer’s operation.
“Working with customers to become a trusted advisor to them for agronomy has meant a lot to me and I enjoy watching them build their business as I build mine,” Thayer says.
Thayer lives in Haxtun, Col. and he and his wife, Julie, have three children, Tanley, Trevon and Taryn. They are active supporters of their local high school and community.
